Ordinarily I don't like chain things, or respond to them, but this one was amusing and interesting and I've really enjoyed reading those done by the people I know. So here's me...in twenty random facts...that really are just that, random. I sat down to do this with no theme in mind, it's only an outpouring of the random things about me I thought of this evening.
1. I have four cats, two males and two females. Both females are tortoiseshells and are named Pukha and Tymurri. The males are one Siamese with white feet named Sho-pan and a very large and spoiled black cat named Kiarrn.
2. I love cultures and languages and creating them, so I have several very vibrant races of my own creation of which I'm very fond.
3. I have numerous muses, some of very interesting things. At last count there were included in the listing Kefsin the Muse of Childish Mischief and Kad'a'kein the Muse of Disturbing Things.
4.I have a random closet of names from which I produce new and intriguing character names on occasion. I don't know what I will do if the closet ever gets empty.
5. I have absolutely no fear of spiders. I'm actually rather fond of them and will pick them up to put outside when I find them in the house (mainly so no one else will squish them).
6.I have a ridiculous number of books most of which I actually have read, and the rest of which are only waiting for me to find time to read them.
7.I have a small collection of swords and knives. Breaking into my house wouldn't be wise.
8. My fingernails are naturally ridiculously long and clawlike and grow way too fast.
9. I'm actually the fan of a number of things but I very rarely draw fanart because I'm almost never satisfied with my attempts at conveying other people's characters. The art I occasionally do for friends or for art trades is the exception.
10. I like all kinds of music and in almost any language and when I'm alone in the house there will almost always be some kind of music or another playing.
11. I'm really not very fond of chocolate, I rarely eat it, but I adore coffee in almost any variety as long as it isn't too sweet.
12. Lilacs are my favorite flowers, they're delicate and such a soft color and smell heavenly. I'd have my house full of them year round if it were possible.
13. I grew up on a ranch and am a very experienced rider, horses were the first thing I ever drew but sadly I'm not very good at them anymore.
14. Am a big manga fan with a very large collection of manga in various genres, but like I said, I don't really do much in the way of fanart.
15. I am a big fan of history, of all sorts up until the American Revolutionary War, after which I get a bit bored with it. I do love the Revolutionary War, The Crusades, Scottish History, and Ancient Egypt as some of my favorites. I actually read an entire book on the mummification process in High School and found it absolutely fascinating.
16. My nickname really is Plaid, at least among my real life friends, I tend to give people very odd looks when they actually call me by my birth name. Of course there are also numerous other nicknames I will answer to, so many in fact that I might be accused of Multiple Personalities, some of them are Finvas, Tal, Drazek, Dragon Girl.
17. I love cinnamon and peppers and numerous other spicy foods.
18. I love to write stories and poetry, but most of them are far too precious for me to share on the net with any but my dearest of friends.
19. I prefer mugs and tea cups without handles, so my favorites are some I have of the Japanese style and one old mug which has a broken handle and a chipped rim and has lost much of it's gold trim.
20. I believe in magic. I don't mean the kind with people pulling rabbits out of the hat, or silly conjurings, but the real magic that is rare and beautiful and sometimes dangerous. I also believe in Elves and Faeries and Dragons and Unicorns and King Arthur, and I really don't care what anyone thinks of that.
